Welcome to my ever changing and growing world of imagination.  The later half of 2007 and the beginning of 2008 has yielded some wonderful surprises and opportunities.  As all of you know last year the main project was my short film, “Perfect Copy,” and with its release has seen some wonderful accolades.  It was selected for the Melbourne Independent Filmakers Festival in November 2007 at which time it was nominated for best dramatic short.  During post-production and subsequent release I worked on the feature length version of this story.  It wasn’t long after we posted the trailers out on u-tube and other services that we drew the attention of a Producers Rep in California.  We are officially in pre-production seeking funding and cast for a 20 million dollar budget film for worldwide theatrical release. Exciting adventures are also taking place with my first love of novel writing.  I’m proud to announce that Aisling Press, a traditional small press, will be publishing my latest novel, “Nemesis Returns,” the sequel to my most popular title, “Nemesis Rising.” In addition, Aisling Press will be publishing companion curriculum guides for my novels, “The Edge of The Universe” and “Nemesis Rising” for middle school and high school reading classes. 

My involvement in my community can be found in the donation of one of my short stories, “Angel’s Keep” for “Writers for Relief II” published by Dragon Moon Press for release September 2008 now taking pre-orders on Amazon.  The proceeds will benefit the Bay Area Food Bank.

Now in the world of sound, my husband, Tony, and I have been asked to host a Sci-Fi Fantasy Literature Radio show on Ad Astra Radio.  Keep a look out for the launch date. The show’s title is “Andromeda Library.”  We’ll have interviews with authors, publishers, book reviewers corner, and trivia.  In addition, we’ll discuss relevant topics of writing, publishing media, and technology.  The list is endless and only limited by our imagination.  We also encourage our listeners to send us feedback on what they liked or didn’t like and suggestions of what they’d like to hear.  Our main focus will be on encouraging people to read.  Unlike any other mode of entertainment, a book is the only one that the reader becomes a participant in the story. Reading is not a mundane pastime, but a powerful transport tool that takes the reader into other realms, times, and realities.

In the future when the oldest of humans can’t remember what earth looked like and convinced that we are all there is in the cosmos, a tragic event began, the Rundi War.  Its beginning and ending were abrupt and mysterious, and its eight year duration costly.  The only man who knew the truth about the war and the Rundi, a xenophobic alien race, was executed for high treason.  His best friend, Captain Rico Sanchez, is hell bent to uncover the truth and restore honor to his friend’s memory and the disgraced crew he left behind. Faced with a conspiracy and entangled in a forbidden love affair, he must accept the verdict of the military courts or surrender himself to the same fate should he uncover what really happened.
