Lights! Camera! Action!   2007 has started with a bang! Hitting the road running as it were, I’m officially in the movies. One of my short stories is being taken into the realm of film. January marked the beginning of principal photography of the film short, “Perfect Copy,” being directed by Joe Tolley. In all the things I’ve done in my life, I never dreamed I would be making a movie. Sure I fantasized about it, but this dream is actually coming true through a turn of events that only God could have orchestrated. I’m officially a screenwriter, producer, actress, voice artist, poet, and novelist. We are looking forward to a summer release. It will be available on DVD for you to own. Keep checking for more exciting updates.

I also had the great honor of singing with my home church choir for the production of their first CD called, “Descriptions: Victorious Life Church – Live” for more information about this wonderful praise and worship music CD, contact VLCMusic@aol.com.

2006 was a year of great change for me personally and professionally. It was a time of discovering my heart and where I draw my strength. The passing of my grandmother was a true turning point. Although I miss her a great deal, I’ve been able to incorporate her tenacity of living life to the full and letting things that although may seem monumental at the moment, like when my house was robbed just before Thanksgiving, roll off my back. After all, its just stuff and the memories that were attached to those objects can’t be stolen. What was most important was that my family was safe and unharmed.

I’m so excited to share this next facet of my life with my fans. When I’m not working on the film I’ll be writing the sequel to, “Nemesis Rising.” It’s proving to be an even bigger adventure than the first book, and I hope to have it out later this year. My peace garden has continued to grow. It has been surprisingly therapeutic in relieving stress so I can focus on being creative. In many ways it’s very much like writing a story. Stories are organic, and grow in many unexpected ways, which is the key to creating something, special. Stay safe, and hope to see you real soon….
